Raphaela Felder (*1994) grew up in Schüpfheim, near Lucerne. She graduated from the Gymnasium Plus, with a talent in music/solo singing. Early on she took on leading roles in the musicals "Cats" (Grizabella) and "Westside Story" (Anita). She was also part of the cast on the operetta stage in Entlebuch.
Raphaela completed her studies in classical singing, soprano voice, with Prof. Barbara Locher. To this day, she continues to receive vocal coaching from her professor. Regular master classes and privat lessons with Malcolm Walker (former professor at the Paris Conservatoire) and private lessons in Paris further enrich her training.
Furthermore she participated in vocal training in the jazz genre with Katja Mair and in pop/belting lessons with Jasmin Schmid.
At the Swiss Opera Studio in Biel, she completed her studies with a minor in music theater with Matthias Behrends, Franco Trinca, Stephan Sabrowski and Anna Magdalena Fitzi, where she was able to devote herself to acting and role studies.
She was awarded a scholarship from the Melinda Esterhàzy de Galantha Foundation for two years. In 2020 she won the sponsorship prize at the song competition of the "Marianne und Curt Dienemann-Stiftung" Lucerne and in 2022 the culture prize of the Lions Club Entlebuch-Wolhusen.
At the Stadttheater Sursee, Raphaela has already been seen as "Arsena" in Strauss' "Zigeunerbaron," and this season she portrayed "Princess Rosemarie" in Kálmán's "The Duchess of Chicago." In addition to the opera and operetta stage, she is also active as a Lied- and concert singer.
